Monday Night Net Controller

I have been a ham since 1986, I listen more than talk, but enjoy variety of op modes, I am net control for 3938 North Carolina sideband net on Monday nights, (join us at 7:30 PM ET). Great and interesting group of hams!

I run a pro 3 on 80 along with a Collins S line for tube night. Use kx3 elecraft to a zero 5 vertical and 20 dipole when I move to other bands. It drives a 100 watt kxpa to a 500 watt kpa amp. All tuning is thru kat 500 for this rig, all auto tune (cuts down on dumb) the 80 rigs drive a Henry 2K to a dipole up about 50 feet. Use icom 7000 for digital feeding ah4 tuner to a sloper (not fancy but idiot proof) For VHF use Yeasu 736 driving a TE 1452G.

Have 5 children,12 grands, 1 great grand (another in oven) 2 mutts, Best of all Brenda, who keeps me and the business straight, (I'm her full time job) Ride my bike for exercise to keep this figure, 2014 Harley Breakout, I'm blessed, great family and friends!
